Privacy Policy

What data we collect
Account data (email or Google sign-in) and confirmation that you're 18 or older. During a conversation we process your speech so Vesna can respond, and voice characteristics — intonation and tone — to better understand your mood. We store the text of conversations and the memory of them, plus technical logs. We do not ask for or store your date of birth.
What we do NOT store
We do not store an audio recording of your voice. Your voice is processed in real time and is not kept as a recording after the conversation. We do not create or store biometric identifiers or voiceprints, and your voice is not used to identify you. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
How we use data
To run the voice companion, keep memory between conversations, maintain the security of the service and prevent abuse.
Quality improvement
To make Vesna better, we may use de-identified data — without your name, contacts or anything that points to you. In that form it's no longer tied to your identity.
Service providers
Some processing is performed by service providers acting on our behalf under data-processing agreements (DPAs). These cover: payment processing (Stripe); authentication, database and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud); website hosting and delivery; transactional email; error monitoring; and specialized real-time voice and language-processing infrastructure. Data is processed primarily in the United States.
Safety and care
To support you in time during a hard moment, automated systems may notice signs in the conversation text that you may be in danger. This is for your safety, not for surveillance.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all your data at any time in your account settings — or by writing to privacy@vesna.you. Data of long-inactive accounts (more than 24 months since the last conversation) may be deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and to withdraw consent you gave earlier. For California residents, applicable California privacy law rights are honored on request.
Age restriction
The service is intended only for people who are 18 or older.
Cookies
We use essential cookies: session — to remember that you're signed in; theme — to remember your dark/light choice; lang — to remember your chosen language. We also use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand aggregate usage: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not collect personal data. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data for advertising.
